大皇宮(The Grand Palace)，是全泰國最重要的國家資產！
同時也是曼谷旅遊最重要的景點之一，參觀票價相當貴500泰銖(泰國人免費)。

The Grand Palace is the most important national property in Thailand！
It's also the main touristic place, and the ticket is so expensive 500 Baht (Free for Thai).

大皇宮(The Grand Palace)，從18世紀到20世紀中葉，曾是暹羅王國的皇宮，也是泰國皇室的居住地點。
1946年後拉瑪九世將王室搬到吉拉達宮（Chitralada Palace），因此現在的泰國皇室並不住在這裡。

The Grand Palace was the royal residence of Siam Kindom from 18th century to the middle of 20th century.
Since 1946 King Rama IX moved the royal residence to Chitralada Palace, so nowadays the Grand Palace is maintained and opened for visitors.

大皇宮內最重要的建築群為「玉佛寺」，佔大皇宮的面積約四分之一，寺內供奉的玉佛（พระพุทธมหามณีรัตนปฏิมากร/พระแก้วมรกต），由一整塊翡翠雕成，高約66公分，寬約48公分。
玉佛是全泰國人最敬仰的神明，每年三季都由皇室為玉佛換上不同朝服，以示尊敬。

The most important buildings in the Grand Palace are "Wat Phra Kaeo", located around 1 quarter of the Grand Palace.
In the Wat Phra Kaeo people worship Emerald Buddha（พระพุทธมหามณีรัตนปฏิมากร/พระแก้วมรกต）made of whole emerald, height 66cm, wide 48cm.
Emerald Buddha is the most respected in Thailand, and Thai royalty costume Emerald Buddha as the three seasons change to show sublime respect.
